You may have heard of Oban and Fort William which are situated in the west of Scotland. You may not however have heard of Appin and Port Appin so come a while and see what you have been missing.

Appin sits on the shores of two Lochs, Linnhe and Creran, it is host to one of Scotland's most wonderful castles, Castle Stalker and Glen Coe is just 20 minutes away. Appin is truly a location for those who have a great love of the outdoors, the scenery is astounding and breath taking mountains lie across the Lake.

There are many activities for you to enjoy apart from the obvious like walking, golfing, you could try your skill at climbing, snow- boarding, skiing, various water sports, you truly will be spoilt for choice of what to do.

But where to stay is an easy one. Cairn Lodge is simply stunning, it is very spacious indeed with modern furnishings throughout and you are surrounded with stunning views of the landscape. The lodge can sleep up to eight people with a selection of double and twin bedrooms, underfloor heating so no matter when you come, you will always be cosy, especially with the log burning stove in the lounge. The lodge has everything from the dishwasher to the utility room, you will not want to come back home. Outside you have a large decking area and a barbecue. The building itself is stone built and is very attractive to behold.
