Water Sports

If water sports are your thing Scotland is the perfect place to go, explore and have your own great adventure. Holidays and short breaks are the perfect opportunity to seek out some of the best water sport venues in the country. With all manner of sports available either on the coast or on one of the many stunning Scottish lochs and rivers inland, there are companies offering everything from white water rafting to surfing, canoeing, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing and sailing. Most venues offer expert tuition and instruction for the less experienced participant and there is a great choice of equipment shops to choose from, including numerous hire shops. Coasteering is a relatively new sport which is ideal for groups or team building, as members take on the thrilling challenge of rock scrambling, climbing and navigating the waters around the coast which often involves leaping into the crystal clear waters of the sea. Whatever you favour there is sure to be something exciting and new for you to try your hand at.
