Good Food Show Comes to Scotland

From the 6th to the 8th November, your taste buds will be tingling, your mouth will be watering and your nose will not know which way to go first.  It's the BBC Good Food Show and it's at the SECC, Glasgow.

Many of your favourite celebrity chefs will be there to rustle up some very interesting and tasty food for you to taste and then rush home and make for yourself. Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry and James Martin are among some of the chefs whom you will know.

There is the Interview Stage where the chefs tell you how they made it and your kitchen conundrums are answered.  Get your favourite recipe book signed by your favourite chef, but be quick, this is on a first come first served, or signed as the case may be.

Many of Glasgow's top restaurants will be taking it in turn to be the Pop up Restaurant of the day so if you have always fancied trying them out but have never actually got round to doing it, Friday its Gannet which this year received the AA Hospitality Award, Saturday its Porter and Rye who specialise in fine meats and Sunday is the award winning Red Onion restaurant, so make sure you pop in when they pop up.

There are loads of stalls which vary from wonderful food being cooked to stalls that sell you the equipment you need to make all this wonderful food. From Castlemoor Farm Hog Roasts to Blu Cookware to Black Cheese. Very colourful if nothing else, but there is something else, loads more stalls and too many to mention here so if you are in Glasgow that weekend, make sure you set aside some time to treat your taste buds.  Tickets are from £15.50 and can be bought in advance or you can pay on the door.
