The fifth hole
Fourth Hole

Oban is one of the most scenic areas in Scotland and to enjoy a game of golf in such a place is a pleasure, the colours that meet you are just stunning from the various fauna and flowers that grace the landscape. Make sure you do not hit one of the Scots Pines, they are under a Tree preservation order you know.

The course is called Glencruitten Golf course and in true tradition it has the "19th" hole, the Club House which overlooks the course with views across certain fairways. The clubhouse is always happy to welcome visitors to sit and enjoy a wee dram, if you have worked up an appetite after your round, enjoy something very tasty from the restaurant. The Clubhouse is a very popular place and makes for a great social life; straight away you all have something in common, great way to make new friends.

The club offers you a shop which stocks everything you require for the perfect game and if you cannot actually play at all, then book yourself some lessons and get in the swing of things.

The course itself is an eighteen hole course and like the rest of Scotland the course is quite hilly so make sure you are up for a bit of a challenge when you play this course, which is how it should be, keeps you on your toes, so next time you are in Oban, make sure you have your clubs with you.
