Details for Scotscraig Golf Club

Scotland is known for many things, whisky, golf, amazing countryside and the weather is always a good topic of conversation but when you are out on the world's 13th oldest golf courses even a touch of rain won't dampen your day. Scotscraig has hosted Final Open Qualifying from 1984 - 2010 when the Open Championship was played over the famous Old Course, St Andrews.  Scotscraig is only a 15 minute drive to the Old Course.

Many famous names have played here but the less well known amongst us are welcome to follow in their footsteps as you can pay for a morning, a day, a weekend, include a meal in the deal and enjoy the view from their wonderful dining room over the 18th hole. The restaurant is ready to fill your little tum from morning with its Golfers Breakfast, this would keep you going all day, to the Specials that change on a daily basis to the evening menu where you could have anything from Local East Neuk Haddock to Chicken Tikka Masala and the prices are very reasonable.

The course itself offers many variations and some of the holes are classed as "Notable" due to the "heathery terrain". You are of course only 15mins from the actual famous golf course but St Andrews itself has much to offer, with it being an educational seat to our countries royalty, I'm sure the local pubs will be full of the locals willing to tell you a tale or two.

For golfers, a holiday has to be at Scotscraig.
