The Fullarton is a small theatre designed to seat 200 theatre goers and its home is the former Church of St Andrews, and is now run by a charitable organisation. .  Its history however is very interesting as the original theatre which was situated elsewhere was even smaller at 30 seats.

To help with upkeep, The Fullarton hosts conferences, lectures and of course many varied performances throughout the year to suit a variety of audiences, from concert pianists to cartoons for the kids, there is something for everyone.

The Fullarton is in the borders town of Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway and it is thanks to all the staff who are volunteers that the Fullarton gives such entertainment to its many supporters, so remember if you are visiting this part of the woods, the extra custom is always appreciated.

If you are in an Amateur Dramatic Club but have nowhere to perform your talents, The Fullarton is for hire, sound and lighting facilities are included in the fee are as front of house staff.  The Wardrobe dept. is also expanding so you can hire stage costumes if you so require.  The theatre is for hire all year round.

Whether you like tribute bands, a night at the movies, something classical, book your seats at the Fullarton for a great night out.
