Half Price Entry to Scottish RSPB Reserves.

The RSPB has brought out a great offer for families to enjoy half price entry to three of their reserves in Scotland. This offer comes just in time for the summer holidays and gives the whole family a chance to do something different for a day.

Visitors can learn about nature in one of the family friendly reserves at Loch Leven, Loch Garten or Lochwinnoch. Simply visit the RSPB website and follow instructions to download your voucher. Loch Garten is in the heart of the Cairngorms just twenty minutes from Aviemore and has lots of child friendly activities such as bark rubbing, nest building and quiz trails. Look out for the ospreys and those cheeky red squirrels. Walk or cycle around Loch Mallachie and don't forget to bring a picnic. Lochwinnoch reserve has plenty of wildlife to spot with many species of birds, butterflies and dragonflies. The reserve is just a short drive or train ride from Glasgow (there is a station right by the reserve) and has plenty to keep the whole family occupied including a nature play area and even a fairy trail for the very young. The reserve at Loch Leven is just a twenty minute drive from Perth and has activities for all the family to enjoy including pond dipping and bug hunting. There is also a natural play area with tunnels and balance hills. The reserve has an award winning café serving locally sourced food and drinks.
